QUALITY

The seats and backs of all  our stools are constructed of plywood/veneers, cold formed in our presses, to create the highest quality product.  Absolutely no particle-board is used.  

 Only heavy duty T-nuts are used in fastening seats and backs to the seat and back controls - No screws into wood - No light fasteners used.

 Vinyl choice:  Because we use only North American vinyl products, replacement parts (in case of damage or accidents) are readily available at reasonable prices, unlike many imported coverings.

EXCELLENT STABILITY

The wide stance base, with five legs, offers excellent steadiness and security.  Smaller or larger base sizes are also available (see Options)

Heavy duty metal dual wheel casters glide smoothly and are equipped with urethane wheels, to prevent marks or cuts to your vinyl or linoleum floors.  Although more costly, urethane wheels are quieter and less slippery on ceramic tiles.

COMFORT & SUPPORT

ROUND STOOLS:  Keeping support and comfort in mind, round seats are constructed of three densities of foam.  The interior foam is of a high density for support, while the top and surrounding foam is of lighter density to provide comfort.   Double-stitched reinforced seams in the vinyl covering lay flat over the gentle roll of the foam so as not to create a welt which impedes circulation.

CONTOURED STOOLS:  There are no seams in the construction of this series.  The different densities of foam and then the vinyl are layered and stretched over molded plywood bases providing a comfortable, seamless stool which is easy to keep clean.

EASY HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

A pneumatic cylinder raises or lowers the seat to the preferred height at the touch of a lever, and the adjustable foot ring can be raised or lowered by loosening the knob. 

ADJUSTABLE BODY SUPPORT

The revolutionary and unique body support (patent pending) allows the arm to rotate 360º.  Totally independent of the gas cylinder, it will not nullify your warranty or cause premature wear on the cylinder.  The best part is that the arm is not constantly hitting the seat, causing wear or tear to the vinyl.

The Body rest can be mounted for right-hand or left-hand preference, and its 4-way adjustments are easily and effortlessly implemented.

BACKREST SUPPORT

A spring-loaded backrest (sized to fit in the small of your back) applies gentle pressure to the lumbar area and has a 4-way adjustment. 

WHY THE NEED!!

Leaning forward, while in a sitting position, is the most detrimental posture to aggravate back problems.  Good posture dictates that the top of our thighs and our spine should be at a 90º angle when sitting.  This is difficult to do when a dentist is sitting on a stationary level stool, leaning forward over a patient.  Thus, the reason for introducing the ‘Task’ series stool.

The infinite Tilt Lock Control (within its travel) single lever allows you to adjust the seat angle to the desired working position as the backrest traverses automatically.  This results in proper posture and eliminates pressure on the legs.

COMFORTABLE SEATING

The foam thickness has been increased in the Task Series round stools to give added comfort.  

As well, a NEW option has been added –

You can now order your stool with Body Sensing Foam.  This foam senses the heat in your body and contours itself to your shape, thus distributing your weight evenly over its surface, alleviating pressure on stress points that cut circulation and contribute to fatigue and poor health.   In the Task Stool the foam is of a heavier density than standard headrest cushions.
